Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Bonfire spreads to farm building in Aylesham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to a fire in Ratling Road, Aylesham. Four fire engines and around 16 firefighters are tackling the blaze which involves a large bonfire that has spread to a single storey industrial farm building. 
 
Fire crews in breathing apparatus are using compressed air foam, a main jet and a hose reel jet to fight the fire.   
 
By 4.10pm the fire was extinguished, the building ventilated and cooled and duty of care handed back to landowner.
