Roof fire in Cuxton
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a roof fire near Sunridge Hill in Cuxton, Rochester. Four fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene and crews arrived to a fire in the roof space of a barn. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported, and the cause is believed to be accidental.
