Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
Woman freed after car collided with a telephone pole
Incident details
Firefighters helped to release a woman who was trapped in a car in Bullockstone Road, Herne Bay, following a collision with a telephone pole. Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof from the vehicle and the woman was passed to the care of SECAmb.
