Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Trapped man rescued from lorry cab
Incident details
Firefighters helped to free a man who was trapped in the cab of a lorry after the vehicle collided with a sandstone block wall in Halls Hole Road, Tunbridge Wells. Crews used ladders to access the cab and hydraulic cutters and spreaders to create space to release the driver. Crews made the scene safe, while the man was assessed by SECAmb.
