Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Sutton Valence bedroom destroyed by fire
Incident details
Firefighters have extinguished a blaze in a first floor bedroom. Crews in breathing apparatus used a hose reel and a hydrant. The room has been destroyed by fire and the remainder of the first floor has been smoke damaged. Two fire engines were initially sent to the incident but it was reduced to one pump just before 11am. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
