Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Barn fire in Aylesford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a small barn alight in Rochester Road, Aylesford. 
 
Four fire engines attended, as well as a bulk water carrier, and crews wore breathing apparatus while using hose reel jets and beaters to extinguish the flames. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is not yet known.
