Incident
M2 road crash
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a road crash involving two cars between junctions 6 and 7 of the coastbound M2 near Faversham. All five adult occupants in one car and an adult in the second car had managed to get out of their vehicles safely.

Crews administered first aid, assisted ambulance crews and made the scene safe. The stop came through at 6.35am

They then had to deal with a second incident at 6.49am involving five cars on the London-bound carriageway between 6 and 7, which resulted in the M2 being closed from junction 6. However no one was trapped and crews were only required to make the scene safe and left the scene at 7am at which time the M2 was reopened.
