Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire crews at Sandwich road crash
Incident details
A woman is now in the care of the ambulance service following a road crash in Beacon Lane/Woodnesborough Road, Sandwich, in which a car ended up on its roof hitting a gas control cabinet. The gas intake has been isolated and Kent Police are also in attendance for traffic control. Two fire engines initially responded but the incident was reduced to one pump just before 8am.
