Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire in an industrial unit in Iwade
Incident details
Firefighters are in attendance at a fire involving a dryer machine in the ground floor of a large industrial unit at Ridham Dock, Iwade. Crews in breathing apparatus used a thermal imaging camera to locate the fire, which has been exposed and brought under control. There are no reported injuries.
