Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fork lift truck fire in Ramsgate
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a fire involving a fork lift truck inside a building under construction on Harbour Parade in Ramsgate. Crews used breathing apparatus, a main jet to tackle the fire on the ground floor of the building and a positive pressure ventilation fan for prevention work. The fork lift truck was 100% destroyed by fire. The cause of the fire isn't yet known. There were no reported injuries.
