Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Domestic property fire in Ramsgate
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a domestic property fire on Meridian Close in Ramsgate. Two fire engines were in attendance and crews arrived to fire and smoke coming from the ground floor of the property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to tackle the blaze. The cause has not yet been established but is believed to be accidental.
