Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Cornfield fire in Sevenoaks
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a cornfield alight on Bowzell Road in Sevenoaks. Two fire engines were in attendance, and crews arrived to find the fire had spread to around one hectare of cut corn and stubble. Firefighters used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. No casualties were reported, and the cause is believed to be accidental.
