Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Pregnant woman rescued from crash near Canterbury
Incident details
A pregnant woman was cut free from a car involved in a crash with another car on the A260 at Barham near Canterbury. Fire crews were able to stabilise the vehicle and then release the woman from her vehicle. She was then placed her in the care of paramedics from SECAmb. Crews made the scene safe.
