Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Man rescued from crash in Ash, Canterbury
Incident details
A man has been rescued by firefighters, following a crash in Ash, Canterbury. 
 
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the A257 Guilton, and sent two fire engines to the scene. 
 
Crews used cutting equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle to free the man, who was passed into the care of SECAmb.
