Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire in Sychem Place, in Five Oak Green, Tonbridge.
Two fire engines attended the address, where sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s believed the fire started accidentally.
Kent Police also attended and next of kin has been informed.
