Firefighting operations are now complete on Nursery Grove, Gravesend.

At the height of the incident, eight fire engines, a height vehicle and a bulk water carrier were in attendance.

There are no reported injuries and all people have been accounted for.

The cause is not yet known.

Crews are making good progress to extinguish hot spots and are continually damping down at the incident on Nursery Grove, in Gravesend.

Six fire engines are currently in attendance. All persons have been accounted for and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is continuing to respond to a building fire on Nursery Grove, in Gravesend.

The fire started this afternoon on the second floor and spread to the roof space.

At the height of the incident, eight fire engines, a height vehicle, and a bulk water carrier were in attendance. Crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames.

Seven fire engines and a height vehicle remain on scene working externally to extinguish the fire.

There are no casualties, and the cause is not yet known.
