Fire at former mill in Ashford

Ashford

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a tree alight, which spread to the exterior of a former mill building in East Hill, Ashford. 

Nine fire engines, a height vehicle, and a bulk water carrier attended, and crews used main jets, and accessed additional water supply from hydrants, to put the fire out. 

There were no reported injuries, and the cause is not yet known.
