Final update at 12.40pm: 

A fire on the railway line at Whitstable train station in Old Bridge Road, is now out and crews have left the scene. 

Duty of care has been left with Network Rail.

No injuries have been reported and the cause is not yet known.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is in attendance at a fire on a railway line at a train station in Old Bridge Road, Whitstable. 

Two fire engines are in attendance, and the station has been evacuated as a precaution and is likely to be closed for a significant amount of time.
