Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a social club in Oxford Street, Whitstable.
Five fire engines and a height vehicle attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire in the roof and on the first floor.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause is being investigated.
