Car crashes into tree near Frittenden

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the A229 at Frittenden where a car had crashed into a tree. The driver, a male in his 20s, was trapped in the car by the tree. Crews used a bow saw to remove branches away from the car, then using hydraulic rescue gear the firefighters opened the door to gain access to the driver who was transferred into the care of paramedics. Crews made the scene safe.
