Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire in Lewis Road in Swanscombe.
Five fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
Three people were handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics, suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
It’s believed the fire was caused accidentally after an e-bike battery caught alight whilst charging.
