Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a mobile unit alight on a slip road on the Dartford Crossing.Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze, which is believed to have started whilst the unit was being towed. The cause is not yet known.
