Firefighting operations are now complete at the quarry fire on Green Street, Dartford.
A revisit was made at 9.30am for safety checks and no hotspots were found.
In total, four fire engines and a bulk water carrier attended and crews extinguished the fire using a ground monitor.
There are no reported injuries and the cause is unknown.

Crews have now left the scene and the fire has been extinguished by use of a ground monitor.

People living or travelling near Green Street, Dartford are no longer being advised to close their windows and doors due to smoke coming from a fire at a quarry.
Four fire engines and a bulk water carrier attended and crews have extinguished the flames.
