Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to an HGV on fire on the London bound carriageway of the A20 at Dover. Around 25 firefighters tackled the fire using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets with foam. The cause is believed to have been an over heated exhaust turbo. The HGV, which was carrying around 30 tons of frozen potato chips suffered extensive fire, heat and smoke damage. Crews made the scene safe.
