Person rescued from mud in Folkestone

Folkestone and Hythe

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a person stuck in mud off the Harbour Arm, in Folkestone. Two fire engines attended, as well as the Water Safety Unit, and crews used mud paths to rescue the teenager, who was passed into the care of SECAmb. HM Coastguard also attended. Following the incident, crews are reminding people to be cautious when walking in muddy areas, as it can be often deeper than it looks.
