Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire that had spread to a shed and fence at a property on Woodfield Close, Folkestone.

Four fire engines attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hose reel jets.

There were no reported injuries, and it's believe the fire started after a barbecue that wasn't fully extinguished caught alight and spread to a nearby shed.

If you plan to use barbecues, remember to keep them well away from buildings, fences and greenery, and make sure they are fully cool before leaving them unattended.
