Kent Fire and Rescue Service was sent to the scene of an incident at The Royal Victoria Hospital on Radnor Park Avenue in Folkestone, following reports of a small chemical spill. Three fire engines were in attendance, and crews wearing breathing apparatus removed the spill, which has been identified as a medical cleaning product. Crews ventilated the building using a fan, and the property was evacuated. Two casualties with minor breathing difficulties have been assessed by South East Coast Ambulance paramedics as a precaution. Officers from Kent Police were also on-scene. Staff and contractors have now returned to the building.
