Folkestone and Hythe

Emergency services were called to a two car crash on Jurys Gap Road,Lydd on Romney Marsh. Kent Fire and Rescue Service mobilised three fire engines to the scene and colleagues from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance. Crews from both services worked together with paramedics from SECAmb and the air ambulance to assess three people trapped in their cars. Crews used hydraulic cutting gear to free the people and they were placed into the care of SECAmb. Kent Police officers managed the traffic around the scene. Firefighters made the scene safe.
