Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a bungalow alight in Park Avenue, Gravesend.
Seven fire engines and a height vehicle attended the property, where crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using main and hose reel jets.
Two people were given precautionary checks by SECAmb paramedics for suspected smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported.
The cause is not yet known but is believed to be accidental.
