Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire in Park Avenue, in Northfleet, Gravesend.

Four fire engines were sent to the property, where crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

Six people were passed into the care of paramedics from SECAmb and the air ambulance, and members of the KFRS Volunteer Response Team were on-hand to support affected residents.

Fire investigators and Kent Police also attended, and the cause is not yet known.
