Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in a junior school in Peel Street, Maidstone. Two fire engines were sent to the school and on arrival crews found a large brick outbuilding well alight. The building that had a wooden shed attached measured around 10 metres x 7 metres. Crews used hose reel jets and a main jet to fully extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire isn't known at this stage. There were no reported injuries.
