Firefighting operations are now complete at the scene of a house fire on Queensborough Road in Minster on Sea, Sheerness.

At the height of the fire, six fire engines and a height vehicle were in attendance. 

A revisit to the property has been made for 2pm to check for any remaining hotspots.

People living near Queenborough Road in Minster on Sea, Sheerness are no longer being advised to close their windows and doors following a house fire in the area.

Three fire engines remain in attendance whilst crews dampen down hotspots. 

One person has been passed into the care of SECAmb who is being treated for smoke inhalation and burns. 

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Four fire engines are in attendance, and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, are using main jets to extinguish the fire.
