Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a kitchen fire at a house in Leonard Road, in Luton, Chatham. Four fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using hose reel jets. It’s believed the blaze started accidentally when oil caught alight in an oven and set fire to clothing and other items left nearby. No casualties were reported.
