Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended a road crash on the M2 between junctions 2(Medway Bridge) and 3 (Chatham turn-off) at 10.15am. One man believed to be about 60 years of age was trapped by his injuries. He was assessed by ambulance crews prior to firefighters using rescue equipment to remove the side of the vehicle to release him. The Highways Agency was also in attendance.
