Kent Fire and Rescue Service is at a sports centre in Watling Street, Strood, responding to reports of a chlorine leak. The pool has been evacuated as a precaution and hazardous material officers have isolated what is believed to be the leak source. They are now inspecting the centre and measuring gas and oxygen levels to make sure it’s safe for people to go back inside. SECAmb and its HART team are on the scene assessing customers/staff who may be experiencing breathing difficulties.
