Crews are no longer advising people living in the area of Leysdown on Sea in Sheerness to close their windows and doors.

Four fire engines and an all-terrain vehicle were in attendance at the height of the fire, crews used a fogging unit to extinguish the flames.

There were no reported injuries, and the cause is currently unknown.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service has been called to reports of grass alight in a field on Shellness Road, Leysdown on Sea in Sheerness.

Four fire engines are in attendance, and crews are advising people in the area to close windows and doors.
