Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in Morrisons supermarket on Mill Way, Sittingbourne.
Five fire engines and a height vehicle attended and crews extinguished the fire using dry powder.
The store was evacuated and there were no reported injuries. The cause is believed to be accidental and started by an electrical fault.
