Firefighting operations at this incident are now complete on Woodgate Lane, Borden.
Later safety checks have shown no further hotspots.
There are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.

Crews are no longer advising people to keep windows and doors closed near Borden, Sittingbourne, as the wildfire on Woodgate Lane has been extinguished through use of Fire Fogging Units.
Two fire engines remain in attendance, checking for hotspots.
A revisit is scheduled for further checks this evening.
There are are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.

Crews continue to advise people to keep windows and doors closed if they live or are travelling near Borden, Sittingbourne, due to smoke from a wildfire on Woodgate Lane.
Eight fire engines and a wildfire vehicle are currently in attendance and crews are making good progress extinguishing the fire.
There are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.

People living or travelling near Borden, Sittingbourne, are being advised to close their windows and doors due to smoke coming from a wildfire on Woodgate Lane.
This is a separate incident from the grass fire in a different Borden field, extinguished earlier today.
Two fire engines are currently in attendance and crews are working hard to contain and extinguish the fire.
