Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire at Taddy Gardens, Margate.
Four fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames.
There were no reported injuries, but sadly a dog died at the scene.
The cause is not yet known.
