Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle fire on Laundry Road, Ramsgate.
Two fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets and compressed air foam systems to extinguish the fire.
There are no reported injuries and the cause is believed to be accidental.
