People living near Mill Street in Snodland are no longer being advised to keep windows and doors closed, following a fire at an industrial premises.

Two fire engines remain in attendance, and crews will keep a watching brief overnight while dampening down any remaining hotspots.

Due to there still being smoke in the area, people living near Mill Street are advised to continue keeping windows and doors closed.

The incident has been reduced to three fire engines, and crews are using hose reel jets and machinery to break up and extinguish the fire.

Five fire engines remain in attendance, and crews are making good progress.

Five fire engines remain in attendance, and crews are using main jets to extinguish a large amount of paper alight. 

No injuries have been reported.
