Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Large rubbish fire in Sevenoaks
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of rubbish alight in West Kingsdown, Sevenoaks. 
 
Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews used main jets, water from a hydrant and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze, which at its height had spread to around thirty tonnes of rubbish. No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known.
