Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

House fire - Tonbridge
Incident details
Crews were called to a house fire in Copper Beech View, Tonbridge where the lid of a warming cabinet had caught fire. The cabinet had been accidentally turned on and overnight the wooden lid had ignited. Firefighters detached the lid from the cabinet and took it outside. KFRS is reminding everyone to unplug any electrical equipment that doesn't need to be left on before you go to bed.
