Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Tractor alight in Lympne, near Hythe
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a tractor alight off Stone Street, in Lympne, near Hythe. 
 
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets, water from a hydrant and drag rakes to extinguish the flames. 
 
The cause is believed to be accidental. 
 
No casualties were reported.
