Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Correction: fire in domestic property in Rainham
Incident details
Correction: location of incident changed from Rochester to Rainham. 
 
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in a domestic property on Otterham Quay Lane in Rainham. Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to a small fire in an airing cupboard. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to tackle the fire, which is believed to have started accidentally. No casualties were reported.
