House fire - Sittingbourne

Update 2pm The roof of the bungalow was severely damaged by fire and the rest of the property by heat and smoke. Three dogs and a cat were rescued by firefighters and crews remained at the scene until just before 2pm, cutting away and extinguishing hot spots.
Approximately 15 firefighters are at the scene of a bungalow fire in Sittingbourne this morning. Crews in breathing apparatus have been tackling the fire in the roof space using three hoses. Three dogs and a cat have been rescued from the property. One dog received oxygen therapy at the scene from firefighters and all three dogs have been taken to a local vet.
Crews are now cutting away the flat roof and removing roof tiles to check for hot spots.
