Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

House fire - Rochester
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire on Columbine Road, Rochester. Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel to tackle the fire which had spread from the garden to the house.  In the process of searching the house breathing apparatus crews rescued five dogs and a parrot. The home owner was treated for shock by ambulance crews upon returning home.
