Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

M2 road crash
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a road crash on the M2 between junctions 6 and 7 coastbound this morning. There were two walking wounded and three further casualties who were trapped inside the vehicle. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release them before handing them into the care of the ambulance service.
