Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Shed fire in Teston
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a shed fire on Courtlands in Teston, near Maidstone. Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to find the shed fully alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to tackle the flames and prevent further fire spread. No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
