Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Road crash rescue in Broadstairs
Incident details
Crews were called to a road crash rescue at the Junction of Sole Street and Bairds Road, Broadstairs.  The collision involved two cars.  One driver was already out of his vehicle on our arrival, but the female driver of the other car was trapped by her injuries. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting and lifting equipment to release her.  She was placed in the care of ambulance crews.
